WPT Montreal is under way

Fancy a trip to Quebec? WPT Montreal is now under way with the Playground Poker Club Autumn Classic featuring  a 17-event schedule. 

 

The  $2 million guarantee Main Event  has a $3,850 buy-in and takes place November 10-16.  It will be filmed for broadcast as part of the Season XVI WPT broadcast schedule and expectations are high for a big field filled with well-known poker players from around the world.

 

Also on the schedule are a $200,000 guarantee Frenzy event, $80,000 guarantee NL Hold'em 6 Max and $100,000 Bounty. The $10,000 High Roller comes with a with a $300k guarantee. The WPT Playground is also running a bunch of live satelltes on site as well.

 

Last year Hall of Famer and veteran WPT commentator Mike Sexton won the event for his first ever WPT title after 15 years in the commentary booth. Sexton, who has since become chairman of partypoker, won $317,896 USD after topping a field of 648 entries.

 

The Playground Poker Club is located less than twenty minutes south of downtown Montreal within the Mohawk Territory of Kahnawake. We are the Official Travel Partner.
