Tom Hall wins 888Live London

British poker pro and commentator Tom Hall is the new 888Live London champion after a heads-up marathon against fellow Brit Ning Lu.

The £78,888 first prize was one of the biggest wins Hall has ever achieved on home soil and is his first major UK title. The gigantic cash takes him up to more than $1.8 million in live tournament winnings and 52nd place on the UK all-time money list.

MainEventTravel was the Official Travel Partner for the 888Live London Festival, booking hundreds of hotel nights for 888poker qualifiers and other players.

 

The £1,100 888Live London Main Event attracted 427 entries, generating a guarantee-busting prize pool of £427,730. Lu took £72,142 for second, by far the biggest cash of his live poker career. Popular Twitch streamer and Team 888Poker Ambassador Parker “Tonkaaaa” Talbot finished 15th for £5,280.

The Main Event was the last tournament of a 12-day poker Festival in the 888Poker room at Aspers with $800,000 in guaranteed prize pools awarded across ten events.
