PokerStars Festival events debut in New Jersey

The first ever PokerStars Festival is taking place later this month at Resorts Casino Hotel in Atlantic City. The debut PokerStars Festival New Jersey will run from October 29 until November 6, and feature over 50 gaming events including the $1,100 PokerStars Festival Main Event, $2,200 PokerStars Festival High Roller and $230 PokerStars Open. MainEventTravel has a whole bunch of Atlantic City hotels to choose from so check out what’s available here.

New Jersey is the first stop of PokerStars’ new re-designed global live tours and the only one of the rebranded events taking place this year. PokerStars’ Director of Live Events, Edgar Stuchly said: “We are thrilled to bring the first-ever PokerStars Festival to New Jersey. This will be the first live event we have sponsored in the United States since PokerStarsNJ.com launched in 2016 and we look forward to seeing everyone at PokerStars Festival New Jersey for an action-packed poker vacation.”

 Among the pros set to attend are Twitch poker phenom Jason Somerville, Daniel Negreanu, Barry Greenstein, Jason Mercier, Chris Moneymaker and Vanessa Selbst along with reality TV stars Tyson Apostol and ‘Boston Rob’ Mariano of ‘Survivor’ fame.

PokerStars is tailoring Festival events to recreational players and aims to provide a holiday feel, combining a variety of poker tournaments with other fun activities.
