Amazing exotic locations lined up for WPT

The WPT is heading to some beautiful and exotic locations this Autumn with a return visit to South Korea starting September 24, the PMU.fr WPTDeepstacks festival in Marrakech, historic first trips to Uruguay and India – along with WPTDeepstacks events in the Netherlands and Brussels.

WPT Korea
The WPT Korea festival starts next week (September 24) on the gorgeous island of Jeju. The the KRW 1.5 million (approx. $1,300) buy-in Main Event, which runs  September 26-30,  has a guaranteed prize pool of KRW 200 million (approx. $175,000). 

The WPT Korea Main Event features two starting flights and allows one reentry per player per flight. Players also have the option of buying in or reentering on Day 2 until the end of late registration. Each player is allowed a maximum of five entries.

Day 1a of the  WPT Korea Main Event takes place on Tuesday, September 26, and Day 1b follows on Wednesday, September 27. Both days begin at 1 p.m. local time. Other exciting tournaments on the schedule include the WPT Korea High Roller (with a buy-in of KRW 6 million - approx. $5,250 - and the WPT Korea Monster Stack with a buy-in of KRW 1 million ($875) along with head hunter, NLH and PLO events.

Jeju is a beautiful island and a popular tourist resort. The stunning scenery ranges from grand volcano peaks and magnificent waterfalls to beautiful beaches. The Jeju Grand Hotel is centrally located and only ten minutes by car from the airport.

In addition to the WPT Main Event, WPT Korea tournaments will qualify players for the WPT Asia-Pacific Player of the Year leaderboard for Season XVI.

PMU.fr WPTDeepstacks Marrakech
The next stop for WPTDeepstacks is WPTDeepStacks Marrakech. Held in one of Morocco’s most popular tourist destinations, the WPTDeepStacks Marrakech festival runs September 30 to October 8 with the €1,200 Main Event taking place October 5-8.

Morocco has a gorgeous climate at this time of year so don’t miss this chance to enjoy some sun in the fabulous city resort of Marrakech, along with a fantastic poker schedule. We have hundreds of lovely riads and hotels close to the Casino so book now for your trip to Morocco.

As well as the Main Event, the packed WPTDeepStacks Marrakech schedule also includes a €365 WPTDS No Limit Opener, the €270 WPTDS Classic Freezeout, a €125 PLO, the €1,800 High Roller, the €2,700 Super High Roller and a bonus €135 Chinese Poker event on the last day.

WPT Uruguay
The World Poker Tour’s historic first trip to Uruguay runs October 31 to November 5 and will feature a televised WPTDeepStacks Main Event from November 1-5. The WPT Uruguay Main Event comes with a buy-in of $1,500 and two start flights. The event will be filmed for broadcast as part of the Season XVI WPT television schedule.

WPT India
This Autumn sees another first for the WPT with WPT India taking place November 7-13 in fabulous Goa.  The event is taking place aboard the Deltin Royale Casino, India's largest and most luxurious offshore casino and the only one with a dedicated poker room. The casino also has an exclusive whiskey lounge, with a magnificent selection of single malts and hand-rolled cigars!

The three-day $1,000 Main Event runs November 10-13 and will be the final qualifying event of 2017 for the brand new WPT India Player of the Year award. There are two start flights with the final taking place on November 13. As well as the Main Event, the schedule includes the INR20,000 Kickoff tournament on November 7, a INR30,000 Superstack tourney, the INR100,000 High Roller on November 9, and a INR20,000 PLO tournament.

WPTDeepStacks Netherlands
In October, WPTDeepStacks returns to Holland for WPTDeepStacks Netherlands at Holland Casino in Valkenburg with a jam-packed schedule from October 9-15. The €1,200 Main Event starts October 12.  

 

 

WPTDeepStacks Brussels

In November, WPTDeepstacks heads back to Grand Casino Brussels VIAGE in the heart of the European capital. The WPTDeepStacks Brussels festival runs November 9-12 and features a €1,200 Main Event.
